Reporting to the Sales Operations Director, the Software Sales Engineer is responsible for preparing and delivering technical presentations explaining our services to customers and prospective customers. Supporting LATAM sales expansion?with a primary focus on Mexico?this role will collaborate with Sales Executives to sell the TraceGains platform across the region. This is a key position for driving regional growth and will be located in CDMX, Monterrey or Guadalajara. The role will be remote. In this role, a typical day will look like: Partner with management and Sales Executives to plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals across LATAM, starting with Mexico. Successfully match customer challenges and requirements to proposed solutions. Develop proofs of concept through the configuration of TraceGains core products, including maintaining product demonstration environments. Support Sales Executives with preparation, materials, and the demonstration of the TraceGains platform in the Food & Beverage, Nutraceuticals, and Retail industries. Collaborate with the Customer Success team to build and execute successful implementation plans. Drive the sales process through technical expertise and RFP responses. Effectively communicate regional client needs to R&D teams for product improvements. Participate in company webinars, events, and conferences to strengthen the TraceGains presence in LATAM. The essential requirements of the job include: Proven work experience as a Software Sales Engineer. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of the Food & Beverage, Nutraceuticals, and Retail industries is highly preferred. Familiarity with SaaS solutions; experience with PLM solutions for the CPG Industry is a plus. Proven track record supporting complex enterprise solution sales. BS degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience in Sales Support or SaaS Sales. Strong understanding of the sales landscape in Mexico and LATAM markets. Solid technical background with experience in software development and web technologies. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Exceptional presentation, communication, and organizational skills. 30% travel required to customer sites and industry events.
