Quality Engineer
European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading sensors technology company, based in Stutensee, who are looking for a talented Quality Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities as Quality Engineer:
* Owns Quality and EH&S engineering responsibility for products and developments.
* Manages customer- and supplier claims ensuring correct and timely responses.
* Represents Quality in internal and external meetings and events, leads Quality-related communication with customers and suppliers.
* Guides, supports team members on quality guidelines and product/process development.
* Drives qualification plans for new products. Including the planification, supervision and coordination qualification execution in cooperation with reliability test laboratories.
* Execution of risk management, use of VDA6.3 FMEA.
* Monitors and improves supplier quality throughout defined supply chains.
* Ensures application of the latest QMS standards 9001/14001 and IATF16949.
* Part of the internal audit pool for process/product audits.
* Performs first/second party audits based on standards IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 and ISO14001.
* Supports third-party audits related to Quality Management System.
* Trains and guides the team regarding Quality tools and methods.
Requirements:
* MSc in Electronics, Physics, Material Sciences, or equivalent areas.
* +5 years of relevant experience in Quality Management in industrial business.
* ~3 years of relevant experience with ISO14001.
* Qualified as an IATF, VDA6.3 and/or 14001 auditor.
* Thorough understanding of ISO9001, IATF16949, and ISO14001 standards, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
* Manage Q&E deliverables within sensor development projects, ensuring timely and effective project completion.
* Experience in supporting external certification audits, ensuring successful outcomes and continuation of certifications.
* Proficient in implementing and maintaining ISO14001 standards, focusing on reducing the organization’s ecological footprint.
* Experience in reliability analysis and implementing reliability engineering principles according to AEC/JEDEC standards is an advantage.
* Fluent in English and German (spoken and written)
