DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Determining project-specific requirements for electrical distribution panels, including control and monitoring units, based on customer specifications and/or internal engineering results
• Design power and control solutions that satisfy the projects requirements.
• Complete Technical Bid Analysis (TBA) for bought out equipment, and lead technical discussions with vendors as appropriate
• Check and approve vendor design documents, ensuring they meet projects requirements and nVent standards
• Ensure all bought out equipment (panels and control/monitoring equipment) associated with projects are correctly specified
• Responsible for providing the necessary in-house and/or on-site control/monitoring components
• Testing of electrical distribution panels together with/without the customer at the control cabinet manufacturer's premises (FATs)
• Commissioning of electrical distribution panels at client’s site
• Checking and approving supplier documentation
• Support in the development/modification of new/existing engineering software and documents to improve customer service
EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Required:
• Preferably 3 - 5 years’ experience in the field of electrical power distribution panels in the industrial sector.
• Completed training as a technician / master craftsman / engineer in the field of electrical engineering
• German spoken and written, good knowledge of English
• You are a motivated, committed team player with a solution-oriented approach
• You are familiar with Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook
• Class B driving license (occasional travel)
