Your key responsibilities:
The Supplier Engineer anticipates in internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product, or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that has a broad impact on the business. He/She contributes to the development of functional strategy and leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
1. Being responsible for developing and improving supplier's operations and quality. In doing so, you will interface with the suppliers, internal AMAT stakeholders, and at times, the end-user customer as part of a larger problem-solving team.
2. Solve problems and collaborate with supplier and internally to address product or process failures that impact our internal manufacturing locations or our end-user customers.
3. In detail:Leads the supplier audit processes, evaluates supplier performance and capabilities, and drives continuous improvement opportunities at the supplier site.Leads quality problem resolutions and incident management, drive root cause and correction action. Identifies and drives broad-based systemic supplier resolutions at the process level (lean management). Advance in your development to corporate compliances, industry standards, and best practices methods.Utilize enterprise-wide software to adjudicate and document quality issues, specifically, Containment, Root Cause, Corrective Action, and Corrective Action Verification.
Your education and experience
4. An engineering degree or related with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
5. Intermediate to advanced knowledge SSG product hardware and systems.
6. Strong technical problem solver
7. Basic experience with how Quality Management Systems work, including internal auditing, quality and risk management tools, including FMEA and Quality Planning.
8. Excellent analytical and organizational skills with an understanding of good manufacturing practices for various supplier fabrication.
9. Effective interpersonal skills and team-oriented behavior.
10. Efficient verbal and written communication style
11. Willing to do business trips to customer in Europe, or to the Headquarter is in the US, up to 25%
