Senior Electrical Engineer European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading robotics company, based in Stuttgart, who are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of electrical systems specifically for industrial automation projects. Responsibilities as Senior Electrical Engineer : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement electrical systems specifically for industrial automation projects. Evaluate material properties, select appropriate materials and create a bill of materials for electrical components. Work closely with control engineers and automation specialists to ensure electrical designs align with automation requirements. Integrate sensors, actuators, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and other automation components into electrical systems. Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic for automation systems. Specify components such as relays, motor drives, sensors, and communication interfaces. Ensure that electrical designs comply with safety standards. Support commissioning and testing of electrical systems during installation and startup. Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions. Requirements: You are fluent in English and German. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) for electrical design. Knowledge of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and fieldbus communication protocols. Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC). Familiarity with designing CE-certified AGV control systems and automation systems.
