One of the most up and coming medical device companies in Germany is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to work remotely.
Please note that you need to be in the medical device industry and speak fluent German to be qualified.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with product development teams to integrate security features into medical devices from the initial design phase through to deployment.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in hardware, software, and communication protocols. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
* Perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits on medical devices to ensure they meet cybersecurity standards.
* Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 27001, FDA guidance). Stay updated on the latest industry regulations and best practices.
* Develop and maintain incident response plans. Lead investigations into security incidents, analyze the root causes, and implement corrective actions.
* Provide cybersecurity training and guidance to internal teams, ensuring that all employees are aware of security protocols and best practices.
* Prepare detailed technical documentation, including security architecture designs, risk assessments, and compliance reports.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity within the medical device or healthcare industry.
