At the Point of Sale tribe, we help small merchants facilitate their in-store operations and bring them closer to their customers. We make it easy for them to run their business with features such as a Product Catalog, Inventory Management, Business Analytics, Compliance Support, Loyalty Features, and more.
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will provide tooling and knowledge to help our development teams build, release, and operate products at high functional and non-functional quality end-to-end across all channels (Android, iOS, Web, API) - ensuring a flawless, smooth and productive user experience for the more than 4 million merchants whose businesses rely on our products every day.

What you’ll do:
1. Advocate for product quality and drive the quality strategy of the tribe
2. Set up automation for non-functional as well as functional testing end-to-end from backend services to frontend channels working very closely with the teams
3. Educate and support teams on quality assurance best practices
4. Enjoy both teaching and learning on the job
5. Work very closely with our different teams, sometimes in pair-programming
6. Work closely with QA Engineers maintaining our Device Farm
You’ll be great for this role if you have:
7. Extensive experience in test automation
8. Proficiency in automating mobile testing for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring coverage across different devices, screen resolutions, and aspect ratios
9. Ability to test non-functional qualities such as performance, scalability, and reliability for high-scale applications
10. Experience in setting up, maintaining, and extending testing tools that support continuous integration and delivery
11. Strong ability to manage your own time and priorities effectively, always keeping the end customer in mind
12. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling clear and concise interaction with team members and stakeholders
Nice to have:
13. Experience with application security testing
14. Knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes
15. Experience with GitHub Actions
