Location: Neuenburg am Rhein, Germany Reporting to the Market Segment Manager Pumps Europe, the Sales Engineer is responsible for handling sales within assigned business scope within the framework of the strategies and policies of the company to deliver sales target. · Represent NCEIG functional Pumps business unit in Europe – position based in Germany · Aid prime equipment sales by maintaining and developing effective, working customer relationships via valued service products. · Develop proposal for sales campaigns for specific products and markets/customers and align campaigns with the segment manager, BLM, PLM and Business Development Manager leadership before execution. · Provide and achieve targets to grow the business unit to maximize volume and profitability. · Increase market-share through increased sales presence while maintaining existing customers. · Monitor changes or developments within the industry and report to management. · Observing competitive and market trends. · Promote all NCEIG product portfolio, follow-up and share sales lead internally. · Documentation of activities in our CRM program (SalesFroces) · Other duties as assigned that are broadly in line with the above and key objectives · Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Language (Advanced Level), including business and legal vocabulary. · Bachelor/Master’s degree in Technical Sales, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is advantageous. · Must also be able to work well with current team members at all levels · Tenacity and a confident and persuasive self-starter with a strong drive to achieve results. · Proven experience in sales and customer service. · Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. · Excellent problem-solving skills. · Effective communication skills. · Exceptional customer service skills. · Skilled in time management, prioritizing and managing changing priorities in fast-paced environment. · Some experience in major projects or transactions. · Experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand bid/proposal specifications, both from a technical and commercial perspective. · Flexibility to travel 50% of the time
