Your mission?
As an Electrical Design Engineer you will manage Computer Aid Designer (CAD) activities and deliverables on Electrical Domain in compliance with QCD commitments, will apply electrical domain instructions, processes & tools and implement vehicle concepts and will perform 3D detail design of electrical-cubicles, wire harnesses, mounting plates and devices.
Your key responsibilities?
* Designing products taking into account project requirements (performances, manufacturability, serviceability, testability, etc.)
* Creation of 3D cable routing within a vehicle
* Creation of 2D assembly-documentation
* Preparing and documenting Domain Design Reviews according to project schedule and following-up the main open actions
* Respecting and/or allocating requirements and interfaces to Sub-Systems/equipment (Allocated volume, weight, location, 3PL, etc.)
* Analysing change request impacts on assigned zone and applying change if request accepted
Key requirements:
* Degree in electrical / mechanical engineering or mechatronics
* Basic experince with MCAD tools, idealy in Catia V5 Electrical/Sheetmetal Design/Part Design
* Basic skills in Visual Basic and/or C++ or another comparable language
* Good Communication and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customer).
* Time management and reporting skill.
* Sense of urgency / priority.
* Structured and organized with Hands-on approach.
* English and/or German operational in read/writing and technical meetings.
