Your tasks
8. Plan and execute battery tests efficiently, coordinating with both internal and external laboratories.
9. Focus on cell-level testing, while occasionally conducting module or pack tests as needed.
10. Program and configure test benches to ensure optimal performance.
11. Analyze test data, interpret results, and provide detailed feedback to key stakeholders.
12. Collaborate closely with integration and battery development teams to drive continuous improvements.
13. Manage certification documentation, ensuring all test reports comply with industry standards:
14. Take on additional tasks and projects as needed to support team goals.
Your profile
15. Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
16. Solid experience with lithium-ion battery cells, both practical and theoretical.
17. Hands-on expertise with battery testing systems like Kratzer, PEC, Basytec, AVL, and related equipment:
18. Minimum 1 or 2 years of battery testing experience; comfortable with hands-on tasks and tools.
19. Proficiency in data analysis using tools like MATLAB or Python is essential.
20. Strong motivation to create and improve testing structures and processes; a proactive, self-driven work style is crucial.
21. Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on achieving targets and effective collaboration.
22. Familiarity with Battery Management System (BMS) functions and CAN systems is an advantage.
23. Experience in the automotive or aerospace sectors is a plus.
24. Fluent in English; knowledge of German or additional languages is a bonus.
