We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Flight Test Engineer" (m/f/d).
Your tasks:
1. Coordination of development and certification tests
2. Development of a flight test program for a CS/FAR23 commuter aircraft
3. Development of flight test cards
4. Definition of flight test instrumentation
5. Coordination/planning of aircraft modifications
6. Development of procedures and manoeuvres for flight test cards
7. Preparation and conduction of ground- and flight tests
8. Classification of test hazards and risk mitigation procedures
9. Data reduction and qualified real-time/post flight analysis
10. Compilation of test reports
11. Participation during onsite and offsite test campaigns
12. The production manager should be able to guide the transition from the prototype environment to serial production
Your profile:
13. Completed studies in aerospace engineering; alternatively a similar degree or an adequate education / experience in the aeronautical industry
14. Min. 3 years professional working experience
15. Experience in flight testing required
16. Experience with development and certification flight testing desired
17. Experience in aircraft evaluation, verification and validation
18. Familiar with Part21 and CS/FAR23 requirements
19. Experience in flight testing of power plant, propeller and fuel systems will be an advantage
20. Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM Software will be an advantage
21. Good knowledge of all MS-Office software
22. Flight background is an advantage
23. Good knowledge of the English language

25. Good communication skills and good Team worker, having an analytical and process oriented mind-set
