We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our NetData Event Processing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, software solutioning, and the ability to lead/guide junior developers, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality and scalable solutions. As a Senior Developer Engineer, you will also contribute to proposal activities, software design/solutioning, as well as be involved in end-to-end support product lifecycle. You will be one of our key players in contributing to the success of our product/projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strong passion for software development, coding enhancements, and solving complex code issues with a growth mindset.
* Ability to play the role of product Tech Lead and lead junior developers or assist other colleagues in solving technical challenges.
* Possess an inquisitive and analytical mind regarding work tasks.
* Manage the priorities of technical task assignments, breakdown tasks for other developers, and ensure technical documentation is up to date.
* Act as Tech/Senior lead of development teams, providing feedback and solving product issues, managing performance, tools, and steering development process improvements.
* Participate in and lead lessons learned/best practices/knowledge sharing in software development, assisting the delivery team in end-to-end technical implementation and ensuring audit compliance.
* Provide second/third level day-to-day PROD operation support within our team products/applications and help investigate and resolve incidents.
* Show strong interest in exploring AI technology and act as a Change Agent in promoting its use for better efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a software developer, with at least 5 years of experience in implementing IT systems.
* Demonstrable knowledge of web-based architectures, integration methods, and strategies to support non-functional requirements such as resilience and performance.
* Strong experience in Java.
* Experience in WebLogic, RHEL Application Server, Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL.
* Experience in Spring Boot, Jenkins, and IBM MQ.
* Experience in Kafka Stream is preferred.
* Detail-oriented and customer-oriented, with the ability to develop and communicate with business and operation stakeholders.
* Good problem-solving skills backed by conceptual and analytical thinking, and a systematic approach.
* Team player with good communication skills and the ability to foster teamwork.
