Job Responsibilities: Main tasks and responsibilities: Lead development activities for underperforming suppliers through the Top Focus process Conduct onsite assessment of potential suppliers Participate in supplier tech reviews Monitor supplier performance and identify underperforming suppliers Support in corrective action review for major customer events Participate and monitor the supplier APQP process Professional experience and education: Degree in a technical discipline preferred 5 years' experience in electronics manufacturing Ability to develop suppliers to meet global OEM regulations and requirements Experience in supplier evaluation and development, continuous quality improvement, and open issues management Solid understanding of APQP/PPAP requirements including Process Control Plan, SPC, GD&T, DFMEA, PFMEA Certified Auditor to VDA 6.3 Skills and competencies: Hands on mentality with a proactive approach to identify and avoid problems in an early stage Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies Strong technical, engineering and communication skills in a global automotive environment Solid organizational and project management skills and demonstrated effectiveness to lead and collaborate with cross functional/global teams Awareness, Unity, Empowerment: At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
