Responsibility for the design, layout, and integration of mechanical piping systems and installations Development of process flow diagrams up to fully detailed P&ID schematics Creation of specifications and tender documents for supplier inquiries Evaluation of supplier offers and preparation of decision-making templates Conducting technical negotiations with customers, authorities, and suppliers Preparation of design documents (e.g., P&ID schematics, arrangement drawings) Independent coordination, guidance, and supervision of system suppliers and engineering offices throughout the entire project phase Monitoring compliance with contractual performance requirements Interdisciplinary coordination, particularly with other design departments Technical coordination with customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with contractually specified system properties Support in procurement, construction, and commissioning planning On-site supervision during construction and handling of warranty claims Contribution to quality management (design standards and company norms) Business trips within Germany and abroad University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field (Dipl.-Ing., B.Eng., B.Sc., M.Eng., M.Sc.) Several years of professional experience in the design of piping systems and system integration Proficient in CAD software Fluent in German and English Strong communication skills, teamwork mentality, and structured problem-solving approach Self-motivated, flexible, and resilient personality Please note that a valid work permit for Germany is required.
