We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to oversee the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of industrial machinery at client sites.
The role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of industrial machinery produced by this global organisation. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of machinery on construction sites across Central Europe. The technician will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining & testing the equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage & Support on-site installation, maintenance, and testing activities, ensuring compliance, technical specifications, and quality standards.
* Conduct thorough testing of machinery upon installation to verify functionality, performance, and adherence to required standards. Ensure smooth start-up and optimal machine operation.
* Preventive & Corrective Maintenance both scheduled and reactive maintenance on machinery to minimise downtime and extend operational lifespan. Utilise diagnostic tools to identify issues and perform troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical components.
* Detect and address any non-conformities or technical issues that arise on-site. Ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly and that all technical standards are met to guarantee machinery reliability and safety.
* Ensure all installation and maintenance work is carried out, adhering to required standards, as well as local safety regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
* Industrial certifications in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering
* At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and operation of industrial machinery, preferably in a similar sector (construction, manufacturing, or plant engineering).
* Knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and electrical components. Experience in using advanced diagnostic tools for maintenance and troubleshooting purposes.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and plans. Experience with 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD) is a plus.
* Availability for travel within Central Europe, including extended periods if necessary.
* Strong command of both written and spoken English & German, as it is essential for communication with international clients and teams.
