About the Role In this role at TI you will experience how the latest and most innovative technologies for step down DCDC converters are developed, built and optimized. Making people's lives easier, safer and greener As a Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in the lifecycle of semiconductor products - from development and validation to production ramp-up and field performance monitoring. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, process, test, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable products. Key Responsibilities: - Drive new product development of semiconductor products (ICs), ensuring successful transition from development to high-volume manufacturing - Collaborate with design, test, systems, marketing and applications teams in the definition and planning of new projects based on the customer needs - Setting up and qualifying products within our TI's manufacturing processes and flows - Driving reliability testing on the device to ensure that the final product fulfills the lifetime requirements of the customer environment - Learn and understand stress impacts of various environmental conditions - Cooperating closely with all manufacturing sites across the world as well as with several other product development functions like silicon design/test/packaging/quality in order to provide a complete successful product to our customers - Communicating with teams around the world on a daily basis and establishing strong relationships across TI's worldwide network - Understand how the various components of the final IC work together from a physical, mechanical, chemical and electrical point of view and ensuring it can be reliably built in mass production by balancing cost with quality - Work on new technology development projects, cost reductions, capacity expansions, yield enhancements and quality improvements As a Product Engineer, you play a vital role in ensuring the quality and performance of TI's innovative IC products by defining, realizing and maintaining all aspects of an IC which go beyond the silicon circuit and are equally critical to meet our customers' needs.
