Construction Manager (Parttime/fulltime)
Responsibilities
* Study Phase: Manage construction-related works that occur during the study phase, providing early oversight to ensure smooth transitions into active project phases.
* Tie-Ins: Oversee the execution of 40 tie-ins during the planned October 2025 shut down, ensuring that all activities meet safety, quality, and timing standards.
* Post-Shut Down: After the shut down, manage ongoing construction activities related to the project, which includes building a new structure and the installation of 5 heat exchangers and 10 vessels.
* Full-Time Expansion: If the project secures FID, responsibilities will likely grow into a full-time position extending for over a year following the shut down.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, procurement, and site personnel, to ensure construction aligns with project goals and timelines.
* Work closely with local site management, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
* Report regularly on project progress, risks, and challenges to senior management.
* Ensure that all safety and quality standards are rigorously applied throughout the project phases.
Project Scope:
* 40 Tie-ins during the October 2025 shut down.
* Construction of a new structure, including:
* Installation of 5 heat exchangers
* Installation of 10 vessels
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Construction Manager in industrial or chemical plant environments, particularly in handling tie-ins during shut down phases.
* Experience with heat exchangers, vessels, and large industrial structures.
* Ability to manage construction work during both study and active project phases.
* Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with local and international teams.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of German is highly desirable.
