WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: ?Interpret piping and instrument diagrams, plot plans, piping isometrics, piping plan drawings, piping specifications and bills of materials, area classification drawings, and instrument details for projects in petrochemical and gas plants, refineries, LNG terminals, tank farms, pipelines, and other specialty engineering projects. ?Produce engineering calculations and Heat Tracing Designs using 3-D and 2-D design software programs (Tracer-Lynx, TraceCalc Pro, and MTO-data base, etc). ?Build and maintain effective working collaborations functions and departments. ?Provide technical support for field construction personnel from the office. ?Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction to support the teams overall success and exceed customer expectations. ?Verify all completed work aligns with applicable specifications, customer drawings, codes, etc. YOU HAVE: ?Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or engineering technology preferred. ?Fully bilingual. ?2 Year's experience with detailed design for refining, petrochemical and industrial plant projects. ?AUTOCAD basic level. ?Technical understanding of piping materials, components, valves, etc. ?Technical understanding of Ohm's Law, and electrical properties. ?Display an understanding of physical properties such as temperature, length, voltage, current, pressure. ? Be a self-starter/self-motivated, detail oriented and a good communicator both written and oral. ? Computer literate - proficient in a wide variety of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Access). ?Able to develop relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, etc. ? Some travel may be required to project sites or fabrication facilities. ?Show a strong commitment to Customer focus, Respect and Teamwork, and Innovation. ?Display positive energy, accountability, and integrity.
