JOIN OUR TEAM
As Senior QA Engineer in the Platform tribe, you will design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks that drive our continuous delivery process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate service integrations, test API endpoints, and optimize our testing strategies. This position is unlimited and located in Munich.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for API endpoints and service integrations
* develop, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure efficient and repeatable testing processes
* create and maintain test scripts using tools like WebdriverIO (or similar automation frameworks) to enhance testing coverage
* integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality delivery
* work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define testing strategies
* propose and implement improvements to testing processes and tools
* assist in the design and testing of asynchronous messaging solutions
* leverage a deep understanding of the testing pyramid to design balanced test suites that include unit, integration, system, and end-to-end tests
* adapt and apply various test methodologies based on the specific needs and contexts of different projects
* validate data flows and interactions between multiple services by leveraging knowledge of RMQ and Kafka to test and ensure accurate message flows and processing
YOU COME WITH
* 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in web or eCommerce environments
* strong expertise in automated testing frameworks and tools like WebdriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright
* hands-on experience with Typescript
* deep understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, end-to-end)
* hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
* experience testing asynchronous messaging systems (e.g., RMQ, Kafka) is a plus
* fluency in English
