Position: DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Salary: Up to €110,000 per year
Duration: 18 months
Location: Berlin (90% remote work)
Language Requirement: German (C1 level)
Your Area of Responsibility:
* Design and Configuration: Develop, configure, and maintain robust logging and monitoring infrastructures.
* Service Level Objectives (SLOs): Define SLOs based on customer SLAs and calculate error budgets accordingly.
* Collaborative Development: Work closely with software and DevOps engineers to create modern web application architectures.
* Automation: Standardize and automate build, test, and deployment processes while ensuring quality and compliance with strict data protection requirements.
* Continuous Integration: Set up and maintain a continuous integration environment.
* Container Administration: Manage and synchronize container registries.
* Virtual Networking: Configure and operate virtual network infrastructures.
* SRE Practices: Introduce and develop effective SRE practices.
* Issue Resolution: Analyze and resolve system malfunctions through diligent research and documentation.
Your Profile:
* Educational Background: Degree in IT, natural sciences, mathematics, engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
* Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure) and distributed network infrastructures.
* Monitoring Tools: Proficient with monitoring, debugging, and performance measurement tools.
* Containerization: Experienced with containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
* Scripting Skills: Strong proficiency with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby, Go) and regular expressions.
* Version Control: Familiarity with distributed versioning systems (e.g., Git, Mercurial).
* SRE Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SRE methods and culture.
Tech Stack:
* Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker
* Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
* Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus
