Responsibilities:
1. Purchase of new and existing components as well as scheduling and ordering of spare parts
2. Operational and strategic handling of enquiries, offer comparisons and orders as part of our purchasing processes
3. Market research and supplier evaluation, as well as supplier selection in direct purchasing
4. Conducting contract and price negotiations as well as reviewing purchasing and contract documents for compliance with our quality and safety standards
5. Identification of savings potentials in cooperation with the specialist departments as well as the implementation of measures to reduce costs and increase efficiency
6. Coordination of projects and interfaces between project management and suppliers
7. Processing of complaints and delivery disruptions, as well as the initiation of countermeasures and corrective actions
8. Supplier monitoring as well as supplier auditing and development to ensure high supplier quality and performance
Qualifications:
9. Completed technical or business studies or corresponding further training on the basis of vocational training
10. Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in technical purchasing for a manufacturing company
11. Very good technical understanding
12. Confident handling of SAP and MS Office programs
13. Strong communication skills, even across different cultural and hierarchical levels, in order to ensure good cooperation with all internal and external partners
14. Analytical and goal-oriented thinking and acting
15. High motivation, initiative, reliability and flexibility
16. Good written and spoken German and English skills
