We as “Site Reliability Engineering” Team are positioned within RWEST IT with our team members located across Essen(Germany) and Swindon (UK). The SRE Engineer role is focused on providing and maintaining infrastructures & Applications with emphasis on cloud native tools stack, maintenance/coordination of releases, governance. In future, the team will focus on creating central templates and tools to standardise and automate processes, Observability layer and will be responsible to maintain the solutions. SRE Engineers ensures reliability of systems, scalability, high availability, IT service continuity management and monitoring by fostering collaboration between development and business teams. Your responsibilities Good understanding of monitoring/observability solutions across distributed systems Knowledge & experience with setting up Observability stack for applications ( Elastic or AWS Managed solutions ) DevOps and Cloud: Automate the build, test and deployment of different components with Azure DevOps pipelines Expertise knowledge of Infrastructure as Code Profound understanding of Infrastructure designs (AWS) Knowledge on ADO dashboards, Jfrog artifactory, PowerBI tools etc. Ownership of infrastructure related tasks (create support model, request Infrastructure, apply Service Level Agreement requirements, effort planning, presentation to internal Technology Forums) IT Service Continuity Management,(create or support Business on disaster recovery descriptions), ensure Service Continuity for critical services) DevOps and Cloud: Automate the build, test and deployment of different components with Azure DevOps pipelines To involve in migration of legacy application to Cloud based projects (AWS) / Multi-account setup etc. Communication management towards business stakeholders. Play a coordinating role in change, incident, problem, knowledge management activities Guides, consults and advises other DevOps Engineers Your profile Development / Refinement of relevant Standard Operating Procedure (end-to-end IT Service Management process). Experience in working with any Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Azure) Proficient in Terraform/Cloud formation Good working experience in Observability solutions (Elastic, CloudTrail, Cloudwatch) Fundamental experience in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab or similar) Working experience with YAML pipelines, Jenkins or similar Good understanding of ITIL processes Ability to work well under pressure and strong communication. Very high motivation to learn and grow.
