In Kiel and Wilhelmshaven you will encounter modern and tailored navy systems for ships and submarines - from communication and navigation to reconnaissance and guidance and action. Your mission
1. Contribution during requirements analysis, as well as elaboration and evaluation of solution concepts within one of Europe’s biggest defence projects (F126), especially in the field of the internal ship communication system InfoÜSys.
2. Development of specifications for systems/subsystems and support during their integration, as well as error analysis and troubleshooting
3. Creation of system models (MBSE), technical agreements (TA) and interface documents (ICD) in projects and their coordination with the interface partners
4. Support during the preparation of bids, the development of architecture and design of new systems/products
5. Scheduling, controlling and monitoring of subcontractor deliveries and services
6. Creation of system engineering documentation according to the development process
We are looking forward to
7. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the area of Science/Engineering or comparable
8. Mastery of systems engineering procedures and methods and good knowledge of the structured procedure according to V-Model / DDQS and application within Thales
9. Very good knowledge of DOORS / Requirements Engineering and the allocation/review of requirements
10. Basic knowledge of the naval environment or the subsystems in F126 InfoÜSys are a plus
11. Good knowledge of the English and German language, both written and spoken
12. Willingness to travel
