Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Process Engineer (m/f/d) who will prepare, coordinate engineering and optimization projects locally and analyze data from the facility to improve processes (especially in the Production/Logistics/Maintenance area).
What will you be doing?
* Act as the Subject Matter Expert locally for Engineering and Maintenance at the manufacturing & logistics facility.
* Local CAPEX preparation, and coordination after approval, control and oversight for the site.
* Local initiatives that are cross-departmental – direct Project Management.
* Utilize improvement tools that support the processes of MEIS locally; research and compose best practices to enforce use of the standardized equipment and tools at the facility.
* Project planning support locally; new equipment installation and start-up at the facility; old equipment decommissioning at the facility.
* Participate in Hazard Analyzes (PHA) for CAPEX projects and processes and local EHS, Seveso Meetings.
* Identify process areas for improvement (operations, engineering, quality, EHS); collect, analyze, and manage data from local processes; create trend charts based on the data; design and outline projects based on analyzed data and suggest areas for improvement.
* Interface with various departments locally by administering the programs to manage the process engineering functions at MEIS;
* Devise cost-effective methods that can be used to modify existing processes.
Who are You?
* A passion for Quality performance and Continuous Improvement.
* Strong working knowledge of the chemical sector and/or similar manufacturing environment.
What competencies will you need?
* Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four/five year college or university.
* Degree qualification in a science or engineering discipline.
* 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the Quality field
* Experience managing Quality in complex, varied manufacturing processes
* Proven experience of Lean and Six Sigma Continuous Improvement techniques
