Job Description: The work package activities are required for rolling stock vehicles developed according to the BOStrab regulation. At the current stage of the development the Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) needs to be performed to define and allocate safety requirements to functions, subsystems and components. The activities include the review of functional architecture proposals to challenge and influence the design according to the safety requirements. Inputs: Technical description of the vehicle Operational context Functional architecture proposals Project Functional Breakdown Structure (FBS) Clause-by-clause feedback from subsystem or component suppliers if available Output: PHA including Event Tree Analysis (ETA) for requirements breakdown Safety requirements specification for subsystems or components Language requirements: Fluent German (mother tongue or C1-level) and English (mother tongue or C1-level) with technical terms knowledge from the railway industry Knowledge requirements: General railway vehicle and safety knowledge, experience with functional safety analysis of rolling stock, experience with railway vehicle development and authorisation according to BOStrab regulation
