As a Founding AI Product Engineer, you’ll take ownership of a brand-new product at the intersection of AI, UX, and knowledge management. You’ll design, prototype, and validate an AI-driven system that interviews subject matter experts (SMEs), captures their tacit knowledge, and transforms it into professional documentation — all with the help of state-of-the-art LLMs. You’ll work directly with internal stakeholders and pilot customers to understand needs, test hypotheses, and ship early versions fast. How you can make an impact Design and implement the AI interview process, using LLMs (via Azure OpenAI) to dynamically ask meaningful questions and capture deep expertise. Build or orchestrate a transcript-to-training pipeline that uses prompt engineering and iteration to convert interview content into high-quality knowledge base articles. Conduct user interviews with SMEs and knowledge managers to validate needs, improve UX, and refine prompting strategies. Own the end-to-end prototype or MVP, integrating audio recording, transcription, LLM APIs, and a simple frontend/editor interface. Collaborate with our product and dev team on goals, experiments, and roadmap — you’ll be the hands-on builder and product thinker in one. Skills to be successful Have hands-on experience with LLMs. You know how to craft prompts, test outputs, and iterate. Are product-minded — you think in terms of user needs, flows, and value, not just code. Have experience with user research, interviews, or at least deep curiosity about how real users think. Can work autonomously, take initiative, and communicate clearly. Bonus: experience in knowledge transfer / knowledge management.
