Then you are exactly who we are looking for!As a Design Engineer (m/f/d) for power transformers, you will start your day with a brief team meeting to coordinate current tasks and projects and exchange ideas. Your main responsibility will be to perform calculations and create designs for the dimensioning of current- and voltage-carrying components and assemblies. In collaboration with interface partners, you will develop customized designs that meet the individual requirements of our customers. In doing so, you will always find the optimal balance between technical solution, material usage, and processing time. How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Responsibility for designing the active part components such as core, winding, and lead assembly, considering electrical, magnetic, mechanical, and thermal principles
2. Creating of designs taking into account established manufacturing techniques and materials used, based on international standards and internal technical guidelines.
3. Preparing of the necessary documentation for production in coordination with interface partners such as procurement and manufacturing,
4. Coordination of design specifics with technical project managers, order management, manufacturing technology, and procurement
5. Technical support to the manufacturing process and act as a point of contact
6. Development of our transformer designs in collaboration with the R&D departments
7. Membership in the International Manufacturing Network
What You Bring
8. Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering
9. Independent work are willingness to take responsibility.
10. Basic knowledge of 3D CAD software
11. Experience of working with power transformers would be an asset
12. Fluency in German and good written and spoken English
13. Strong communication, analytical, team and social skills
