About this role
In this role you will be responsible for installation, maintenance and release of new equipment and processes. New development will be achieved through close collaboration with senior engineers within your department, product qualification engineers and R&D teams to meet objectives for product qualification within the boundaries of specification, time, cost, and quality.
This is your new job:
1. You will drive the development of new equipment and processes, as well as support existing ones. You will perform electrical and mechanical tests, optimize test methods, train operational staff, and oversee after-care activities ( service and maintenance)
2. You will evaluate the suitability of equipment and processes to meet functional requirements, perform investigations, design test concepts, and deliver test methods for product qualification either through new development or purchase
3. As the owner of a work package or project, you will lead technical alignment with both external and internal suppliers, define and drive necessary actions to manage risks, track progress in terms of schedule, technical quality, and cost. Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive reports and present them to stakeholders
4. You will ensure that delivered equipment complies with international and company standards and meets health and safety standards, and is user friendly and operational for technical staff
5. You will provide and maintain up-to-date documentation, including working instructions, manuals, other relevant materials
6. You will participate in continuous improvement studies, such as FMEA, SPC, calibrations, and engage in related activities to support the robustness of equipment and processes
This is you:
7. Masters Degree in Engineering or a similar discipline
8. Ideally relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes and packages
9. Experience with equipment interfaces like SECS/GEM, RS232, C#/.NET is an advantage
10. Knowledge of microcontrollers (ARM or others) is beneficial
11. Proficiency in MS Office Tools
12. Strong team player, willing to learn and share the knowledge
13. Strong communication skills
14. Great attention to details and analytical thinking
15. High quality mindset
16. Goal-driven and -oriented
17. Business fluent in German and English
