Field Service EngineerLocation: GermanyAbout the Role:Our client is a global provider offering sustainable packaging to optimize product availability and efficiency. They have over 50 service centers across North America and Europe and support retailers and suppliers worldwide, focusing on sustainability, innovation, and quality.Key Responsibilities:Technical Services: Perform electrical and mechanical work to ensure equipment in Germany and Austria operates safely and efficiently.Repairs: Conduct quality repairs on machines, implement improvement suggestions, and maintain efficiency across different locations.Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and perform regular equipment checks.Stock Management: Manage spare parts inventory, handle procurement, and assist with warehouse duties when needed.Fault Analysis: Identify recurring defects, inform management, and work with manufacturers to resolve warranty issues.Commissioning: Oversee the setup of new machines and sites, conducting on-site acceptance tests.Consulting: Provide recommendations for new equipment purchases in consultation with technical management.Requirements:Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electricity, mechanics, motors, drives, and troubleshooting automation systems.Multi-Disciplinary Skills: Proficient in electrical and mechanical systems, including pumps, steam systems, and general engineering practices.Communication: Excellent team player with strong communication skills.Problem Solving: Ability to think critically, make decisions, and solve problems effectively.Flexibility: Willingness to travel within Germany, Austria, Belgium, and Poland.Certifications: Forklift license or willingness to obtain one; a basic food hygiene certificate is a plus.What We Offer:Growth Environment: Be part of a fast-growing, innovative company that values teamwork.Job Security: Permanent employment with competitive compensation.Additional Benefits: Non-cash benefits and an inflation bonus until the end of 2024.Training: Opportunities for continuous professional development.Vacation: 25 days of paid vacation.Ready for a new challenge?
