Key Responsibilities:
1. Transition new SiC products and processes from prototype stages to full-scale manufacturing
2. Improve the stability of existing processes by minimizing defects and enhancing yield and reliability for qualification
3. Develop alternative processing methods to expand process capabilities and improve manufacturability
4. Create and manage trend and control charts to identify and address deviations in processes
5. Set up production equipment and offer guidance to production operators when technical support is needed
6. Collaborate with the process engineering team to design and execute DOE (Design of Experiments) studies
7. Maintain responsibility for daily process operations, equipment troubleshooting, and mentoring technicians
8. Oversee the release of documentation for assigned tasks and provide technical support to stakeholders in SiC technologies
Qualifications:
9. Master’s degree or PhD in a technical field, preferably related to microelectronics or an equivalent discipline
10. More than 5 years of experience in SiC processing, ideally within a SiC wafer fab, with expertise in at least one of the following areas: Etching and Cleaning, Oxidation and Annealing, Thin Film Deposition, or Implantation
11. Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles
12. Proficiency with documentation systems and basic data analysis tools
13. Excellent troubleshooting skills across system, process, and equipment levels, with a hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership
14. Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English; additional proficiency in German and/or Chinese is advantageous
15. Strategic thinker with a well-organized, independent work style

17. Proactive attitude with a willingness to step beyond the comfort zone and take on additional responsibilities
