So, what can you expect to work on? Build & Scale Data Infrastructure : Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Google BigQuery, dbt, Prefect, and Tableau to integrate, transform, and visualize data efficiently. Lead Data Modeling & Transformation : Craft data models and develop machine learning algorithms that streamline and optimize data transformation processes, ensuring data is both actionable and insightful. Solve Complex Data Challenges : Identify and resolve data issues, proposing innovative solutions to enhance the quality and accuracy of our data across the organization. Collaborate & Understand Business Needs : Partner with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions. Integrate data from tools like Bloomreach/Exponea, Zendesk, Magento, and Odoo to ensure seamless data delivery. Drive Continuous Improvement : Monitor the performance of our data platform and proactively suggest improvements that align with our business goals and technological advancements. Stay Ahead of the Curve : Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in data engineering, and apply new tools and technologies to continually enhance our data ecosystem. What you offer us Experience : 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles (such as data analyst, data scientist, or data architect), with a proven track record of building and maintaining complex data pipelines. Technical Expertise : Strong command of Python and SQL, with extensive experience in building ETL pipelines and handling large datasets. Google Cloud Proficiency : Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Datastream, as well as expertise in dbt for data modeling and transformation. Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues quickly and effectively. Collaborative Mindset : Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
