Your contribution:
As a Technical Application Engineer you will be responsible for driving the deployment of Connected Services solutions into the market by leveraging your deep understanding of our service solutions, and how they create operational efficiencies and value for our customers. You will serve as a key liaison between our sales teams, technical teams, and our customers, providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process and solution deployment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will also work with the regional sales and CX teams to capture customer conversations and interactions related to connected services and provide feedback to the CX team for aggregation and consolidation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Sales Support: Primary point of contact for customer on-boarding, lead the customer service and support process, and effectively lead issue resolution with customers ensuring smooth business operations.
2. Technical Support: Lead the deployment of technical pilots, development projects, and production installations with customers, as well as provide production post-sales technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Technical Expertise: Serve as a primary technical resource for the sales team, possessing in-depth knowledge of our products, services, and industry trends, and lead communication of generated data to create value at the customer side.
4. Product Training: Conduct product training sessions for customers and internal teams, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of product features and benefits.
5. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the field, gathering their VoC insights and providing to the CX team for aggregation and consolidation.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and marketing, to align technical solutions with customer needs and business objectives.
7. Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives, leveraging technical insights to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Education, skills, and experience :
8. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
9. Proven experience in technical sales or engineering roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
10. Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in understanding complex technical concepts and solutions.
11. Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
12. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
13. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment managing multiple priorities effectively, also adapting to changing priorities.
14. Previous experience with fleets, fleet management systems, or similar technical role preferred
15. Fluency in German and English
16. Willingness to travel up to 30% of working time
