Your prospective job:
For our client Airbus Defence & Space you are acting as a (Junior) Development Engineer Fuel and Environmental Control Systems (m/f/d) at the location Manching.
Your responsibilities:
- Integration of Fuel and ECS sub-systems and equipment into aircraft, i.e. specification, qualification and certification of systems, sub-systems and equipment with respect to requirements, safety and reliability, according to the development standards
- Solving thermo- and fluid dynamical as well as mechanical engineering tasks and problems, including the use of numerical simulation methods and tools
- Create and validate thermal models
- Requirement and concept definition
- Contribute to the preparation of system and equipment specificationsfine, monitor and analyse equipment and system tests, including aircraft ground and flight tests
- Support to Environmental Qualification Engineering
- Provide in-service support on system and equipment level
- Technical management of system, equipment and component manufacturers and/or suppliers
- Managing interfaces to related technical departments and functions
Your profile:
- Completed studies in aerospace or comparable
- Experience in the area of (military) aerospace specific development, qualification and certification processes is required
- Knowledge of and experience in equipment and system engineering is an advantage
- Knowledge in the area of (aircraft) Fuel and/or Environmental Control Systems is necessary
- Very good knowledge in MS-Office
- Knowledge of numerical system modelling and simulation tools (e.g. Star CCM+ or ANSYS, Simcenter Amesim, Matlab/Simulink) would be a plus
- Fluent German and English skills both spoken and written
- Being prepared for worldwide business travels (twice a year)
