Job Mission:
The Corporate Process Safety Engineer, is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the process safety management (PSM) systems, policies, and procedures across all manufacturing sites. The role works closely with site-based process safety engineers and the corporate HSE team to ensure that DOMO processes are designed, operated, and maintained safely, and that DOMO is in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain the corporate PSM program that includes risk assessment, process design and equipment integrity, operating procedures, maintenance practices, and emergency response plans
2. Review and analyse process safety accident data and potentials process safety events from multiple sites to identify opportunities for improvement in process safety, support the sites in the investigation
3. Provide technical expertise and guidance to site-based process safety engineers and other stakeholders on PSM-related matters
4. Support the sites in process safety risk assessments according to the corporate procedures
5. Develop and deliver PSM-related training and awareness programs for employees and contractors
6. Participate in corporate HSE audits and inspections and ensure that corrective actions are implemented across all sites
7. Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to ensure that new processes are designed with safety in mind and comply with relevant regulations and standards
IHR PROFIL
8. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
9. Minimum of 5 years of experience in process safety management, preferably in the chemical or petrochemical industry
10. Minimum of 5 years experiences in process safety risk assessments in the chemical industry
11. Knowledge and experience of SEVESO guidelines
12. Knowledge and experience of PSM standards and regulations, such as OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, SIL and NFPA 652
13. Experience with Microsoft Office tools (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
16. fluent communication skills in English; French or German are a plus
