The Project Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining timely and accurate output of technical engineering support and managing assigned projects while working closely with all business unit departments. Responsible for coordinating international 3D drafting team to ensure correctness of technical drawings and compliance to specifications, as well as being responsible for system integration of air pollution control package systems. Your Responsibilities Will Be: Analyzes project specifications and performance requirements to determine the appropriate equipment design. Provides engineering and technical support to Project Management team on Original Equipment projects. Provides technical support to aftermarket team as needed. Provides technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations. Confers with other personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop suitable product designs. Creates and reviews technical datasheets (regular and ISF formats). Reviews general arrangement and detail drawings. Directs or performs preparation of product or system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics. Provides analytical calculations to ensure that the equipment is in accordance to governing codes and regulations. Evaluates and approves structural designs as necessary. Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate malfunctions. Meeting compliance with local and government regulations and represent the business unit in industry, trade associations, and the community. Evaluates and approves structural designs as necessary. Provides analytical calculations to ensure that the equipment is in accordance to governing codes and regulations. Participates in new product or product development strategies. Travels to customer or vendor sites as necessary to participate in meetings or inspections. Maintains current knowledge of new trends in products/processes. Attends internal meetings as required. Completes project-specific engineering output for assigned projects, including the creation of all equipment specifications, production of drawings, and review of Bills of Material. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and achieving results. Interfaces directly with vendors, customers, consulting engineers, and representatives regarding project engineering issues. Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned. Required Qualifications: BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. Must have 8 years engineering experience. Experience interfacing with marketing, sales, manufacturing, and vendors regarding solution of product problems and translation of customer requirements into product specifications. Ability to demonstrate creativity and analytical engineering skills in the application of technologies to new projects. Savvy working with multidisciplinary and intercultural teams. Experience in European package supplies to meet European Norms and Standards (PED, Machine Directive and CE marking etc.). Ability to overcome obstacles to achieve goals and adapt to a changing environment. Experience using MS Office, Excel, and other normal business software.
