1. Install new Imaging systems
2. Perform warranty related service at customer sites
3. Improve internal and external service reporting
4. Execute Preventive Maintenance program for existing customers
5. Promote service contracts for customers
6. Document field service activities
7. Improve customer response time
8. Assist system installation and evaluation for tradeshows
Requirements
9. Minimum 5 years hands-on experience aligning, maintaining and servicing optical equipment including lasers and microscopes preferred
10. Prior field service and customer relationship experience in life Science/photonics industry
11. Degree in Engineering/ Photonics related Technology, EE, Biomedical Science, Physics or equivalent.
12. Strong communication and facilitation skills.
13. Understanding of customer/marketplace (Life Science) and drivers that influence customer behavior
14. Strong problem solving/analysis skills related to field service
15. Must be willing to travel 75% of the time
