Your new responsibilities will include:
1. Developing innovative concepts for power semiconductor modules based on new product components ( GaN transistors) and/or specific circuit configurations ( module-integrated electronic circuits)
2. Independently developing conceptual solution proposals based on product requirements with a holistic view of the interaction between semiconductor properties, parasitic electrical elements, thermal bonding, and lifetime considerations
3. Actively supporting the setup, electrical commissioning, and testing of prototype s from the power semiconductor and electronics areas
4. Collaborating interdisciplinary and across locations with colleagues from the power chip, integrated circuit, and module housing development areas
5. Supporting product management in creating specifications for new products
6. Actively transferring knowledge and exchanging best practices across organizations
7. Preparing, presenting, and discussing new ideas and concepts with/for internal interest groups

You successfully meet the requirements if you bring the following:
8. A successful university degree (diploma/master/PhD) in electrical engineering or physics, ideally with a focus on power electronics
9. At least 8 years of professional experience in the field of power semiconductor or packaging technology
10. In-depth knowledge of power electronic components such as IGBT, MOSFET, and diodes based on silicon or SiC
11. Experience in interpreting electrodynamic interactions in the power electronic context
12. In-depth experience in power module development
13. Excellent communication skills in English and German, enabling effective communication across roles and functions
