Belonging to the Operations Engineering team and reporting to Lead O&M Electrical Engineer, the Senior Electrical O&M Engineer will be responsible for implementing and deploying the strategy to manage the HV/MV/LV electrical assets in the Continental Europe Offshore, making sure that a suitable and reliable electrical infrastructure is in place, defining and implementing the necessary projects for the maintenance and renovation of this infrastructure so that it is fit for purpose at any time during the whole Offshore asset life. RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS Support the development and fulfilment of electrical safety management philosophy, providing sound technical knowledge, promoting a positive safety culture in accordance with regulatory requirements and to the companyu2019s electrical safety rules. Define the necessities, improvements and maintenance strategy of the HV/MV/LV electrical systems in the Continental Europe Offshore Hub, to guarantee the highest assets availability, the compliance with the regulatory requirements and the best service quality following the best industry practices and international standards. Identify the business technical risks related to the electrical systems condition and propose the necessary actions/plans to mitigate those risks as much as reasonably possible. Prepare method statements and implement the required corrective and preventive maintenance activities to maintain/recover the assets availability/reliability either by oneself or through contractors. Assess any technical issue related to the electrical systems, performing troubleshooting, carrying out the Root Cause Analysis and proposing/implementing the necessary action to avoid any re-occurrence. PROFILE/REQUIREMENTS Individual with good knowledge and experience of electrical HV/MV/LV operation and maintenance activities and who can act as the main interface between management team and the site teams to provide expert support as agreed and identified. Bacheloru2019s degree in electrical engineering as a minimum. Considerable experience and high skills on operation and maintenance of electrical systems and substations. Postgraduate experience, preferably in operation of wind farms. Experience in the offshore operations sector. Knowledge of H&S and environmental legislation associated with marine/offshore operations projects. Experience in HVDC transmission system and converter station design is advantageous. Experience in HVAC & HVDC cable installations and testing is advantageous. Experience of using High Voltage Electrical Safety Rules (E.g. NETSO, DNO or offshore specific).
