Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As part of the Commerical Space Station project in Airbus, you will have the following responsibilities:
1. Provide Mission Planning expertise and support to the design and development of Starlab operations in an integrated and collaborative fashion, supporting design, development, and preparation of deliverables;
2. Contribute to Commercial Space Station Mission Planning definition and refinement;
3. Define Mission Planning scenarios ensuring proper reflection of interfaces to Mission Operations, Engineering and safety;
4. Identification of innovative set of mission support tools;
5. Inputs for the Training Process regarding Mission Planning;
6. Participate in program reviews;
7. Coordination with other Mission functions and teams, NASA, Commercial Crew Transport and Cargo;
8. Perform other duties as agreed and required;
Skills & Experience
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
9. Degree in aerospace, electrical/mechanical engineering, computer science (or equivalent);
10. Knowledge of spacecraft systems and subsystems architectures and mission support concepts;
11. Experience with Systems Engineering processes, techniques, with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools CAMEO), Requirements Engineering and tools (DOORS, JAMA);
12. Basic knowledge of computer-aided design;
13. Ability to learn fast, able to work proactively and comfortable working in full autonomy, attention to details;
14. Good Communication and presentation skills;
15. Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
