We'll use this funding to enhance our software-only strategy, expand into new markets, and improve our product for an electrified future ⚡ Tools and technologies you’ll use You’ll be working with a fairly modern stack, and while we don't expect you to know everything about it, you should be comfortable learning new tech. Our tools include Kotlin (Java 17 and closely following updates), Micronaut (microservice framework), Dart and Flutter, Typescript and ReactJS, AWS Cloud, Docker, GitOps, Kubernetes, MySQL/Redis (database), Prometheus (monitoring), Grafana (dashboard/metrics), Loki (logging), and more Here are some things you’ll be working on: Lead and mentor a team of engineers in Financial Services, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Oversee the development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals. Implement and follow best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, monitoring, alerting and continuous integration while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry standards. This team is responsible for the system that drives the collection of a large portion of the revenue for Monta. You will be hiring, mentoring and growing a team of engineers as well as directly contributing to the improvement of the products within the Billing division. This includes setting the direction for the team and working closely with the Product team to come up with best in class billing solutions. To do this, we imagine you to have the following experience: Experience in Fintech, Banking or similar field, preferably experience with building and issuing invoices or receipts Experience managing software engineers and growing teams or working in a lead software development role 5 years working experience as a software developer (Do you fit most of these requirements, but not all?
