This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Who We Are
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Full-Time Project Manager to support our customers, the US Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) and US Army Europe (USAREUR). The Project Manager will work closely with customers and staff in support of multiple projects. The Project Manager’s responsibilities include coordinating and completing tasks on time, within budget, and scope. Summarize the progress of projects in compliance with all Contract Deliverables. Prepare reports for government customers and Program Managers regarding the project's status. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. This position is posted as we are rapidly growing and planning for future hiring needs.
What You Will Do
1. Designs, develops, analyzes, models, tests and simulates communications systems, subsystems, and electronic signals for communication networks, data links, digital radio, battle management, and command and control systems such as wide and local area networks, point-to-point systems, secure systems, signal coding and modulation schema, digital and wireless radio/communications technology and network architecture design.
2. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Program Management aspects of Intelligence, Surveillance,and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms supporting DOD contracts.
3. Maintains smooth operation of local area, world wide and virtual private networks (VPN).
4. Plans, evaluates, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network.
5. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
6. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the account and competitive environment through regular customer-facing meetings and engagements.
7. Integrate requirements across tactical, operational, and strategic levels of operations which include direct support to the planning and operations staff to identify requirements for ISR capabilities of customer's Mobile Digital Infrastructure (MDI) that our team can provide to the Government.
8. Regularly engage with key government client stakeholders. Attend conferences, workshops, and meetings in support of the company and client objectives.
What We Are Looking For
9. 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
10. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
11. Prior project management and development of new customer requirements.
12. Integration of systems and processes.
13. Clearance: Must possess and maintain Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
14. Program Management experience with either Air Force or Space programs.
15. Experience supporting USAFE-AFAFRICA.
16. Candidate already resides in Europe.
