Darwin Recruitment are currently hiring for a Power Systems Engineer on behalf of a company in Germany that was founded in 2018 that focuses on developing next-generation rockets to provide sustainable access to space for small and medium-sized satellites and satellite constellations. Their primary launch vehicle, the Spectrum rocket, is a two-stage, liquid-fueled rocket designed to deliver payloads of up to 1,000 kilograms into low Earth orbit. You will be an integral part of the Avionics, Guidance, Navigation & Control (AGNC) department, specifically the Avionics Hardware team, that designs and integrates Avionics on our launch vehicle. Your day-to-day job will include working on the Power System and Flight Termination System (FTS) of our rocket Spectrum, as well as maintaining associated power system interfaces. You will take ownership of the power system units of the FTS and be part of the core team developing, integrating and testing Spectrum's Li-Ion Batteries. Interdisciplinary tasks and fast paced R&D are your daily business, and you thrive in that kind of environment.
