Your Tasks We are looking for a Test Engineer (m/f/d) to join our QA team and help us ensure the quality of our mobility payment platform. As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for testing new features, verifying fixed bugs and designing and implementing automated tests. In addition to that you will investigate issues in order to find the root cause of bugs. The Test Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform and help us maintain our high standards of excellence. Your Tasks: Work in cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, marketing colleagues, customer support team, business intelligence team, and other stakeholders, to lead the testing efforts of new features. Collaborate with development teams and customer support to find root causes of bugs and provide 2nd-level-support. Communicate the testing process, test coverage and test results to the development team and stakeholders. Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test data, test cases, and test scripts. Design and implement automated tests based on test documentation and best practices. Continuously improve the testing process by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices and new technologies. Your Qualifications University degree in Computer Science or a related field. Several years of experience in software testing Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies Strong understanding of test plans, test cases, and test data management strategies Experience with test automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies Experience with TypeScript Strong problem solving and analytical skills, ability to identify and analyze problems and develop creative solutions to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a team Advanced ISTQB core certification (test analyst, test manager, or technical test analyst) is a plus Your Perks shapingryd is one of our values, as we believe that transforming from Start-up to Scaleup can only be achieved together.
