About the Role As a Senior Embedded Robotics & Automation Engineer (f/m/d), you will play a pivotal role in the commercialization of our Robotic Kitchen. You will be responsible for continuous improvement and innovation projects, driving efficiencies for our cutting-edge technology while working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, software developers, and culinary experts, to bring innovative kitchen tech to life. Your Daily Business Collaborate with the team to implement the software and control systems of our robotic cell and its components. Develop a sustainable and modular architecture that bridges the language of automation with our culinary concept. Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and robotics engineers to ensure the successful implementation and product launch of our robotic kitchen. Cooperate with test engineers to establish a fast and reliable testing concept. Support our cloud infrastructure, remote maintenance, and relevant system controls. Engage directly with the operations team to gather feedback and make continuous improvements. Base Qualifications 4-7 years of experience in Automation Engineering, preferably in robotics. Degree in software engineering, mechatronics, or robotics. Expertise in embedded systems architecture and control of industrial automation cells. Proficient in PLC programming and hardware-related programming (C++, Java). Experience with robotics path planning, optimization, and simulation. Familiar with open control and robotics frameworks (e.g., ROS) – a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, driving technical systems and processes. Agile project management and production support experience. Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus.
