Senior Supplier Development Engineer (f/m/x)
in Kirchardt/ Bad Friedrichshall near Heilbronn or Munich, Germany

As a member of our Supplier-Management team, you’ll operate with a great network of suppliers and the latest innovations in the automotive industry. Always at your side: a well-matched team, working together all across Europe.
Here’s where you’ll make an impact:
* Your mission is the qualitative development of our suppliers. You do this by understanding the requirements of our customers and transferring them to our partners. Thereby you act in a cross-functional, international team.
* Additionally, you monitor proactively and manage problems in the course of the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and determine escalation measures.
* You’ll perform reviews related to open Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables and draft action plans to drive their closure. You will conduct supplier audits on site.
* By implementing and managing changes in the supplier process, you ensure that project goals are achieved.
* Last but not least, you’ll excel at working with people from a wide range of disciplines – making both our internal stakeholders and our suppliers happy to work with you.
This is your basic equipment:
* University degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management or similar and previous work experience in supplier management team
* VDA 6.3 lead auditor, IATF 16949:2016 certification, and a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma Certification
* Know-how in procurement processes and comprehensive understanding of the standard components of the automotive Industry
* Ideally experience in extrusion, welding and/or machining
* Your English: Off the charts! Your German: Gut! In addition, you keep cool even when things get hot, and are curious to learn new things. Your formula for success: change = chance.
