Responsibilities:
● Support the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and staff.
● Supervise food preparation and service, ensuring quality and consistency.
● Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and presentation.
● Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
● Assist in menu development and implementation.
● Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and oversee storage organization.
● Monitor food costs and help in budget management.
● Address and resolve any issues within the kitchen efficiently.
Requirements:
● Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar leadership role in a kitchen.
● Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
● Inspirational leadership qualities to guide and motivate a diverse team.
● Attention to detail, reliability, and a friendly demeanor.
● Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
