Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource within this region. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation. The work model for the role is: #LI Hybrid This role contributes to the Machine Automation division in Heilbronn. You will be mainly accountable for: Providing technical advice and developing tailored solutions for customer inquiries, including automation concepts, hardware configurations, and feasibility assessments, while ensuring alignment with customer needs and technical requirements. Preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals, including cost calculations, device configurations, and system layouts, while collaborating with internal departments to ensure completeness and accuracy. Supporting sales activities by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross selling, participating in trade fairs and customer events, and contributing to presentations. Maintaining and updating customer data in internal systems, delivering product and application training for colleagues, and ensuring the consistent application of quality standards in customer interactions. Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled in automation tools and methodologies, with a strong focus on the industrial automation market. You have established advanced skills with at least 3 5 years of experience in machine automation, ideally working as a Technical Sales Specialist with automation and control systems. Possess an enhanced knowledge of specialized software like Automation Studio, Codesys, or other PLC programming environments. You are passionate about problem solving and are captivated by technical innovation and customer engagement. Degree in / Proven experience of engineering or a related technical field, preferably with a focus on automation or electrical engineering. You are at ease communicating in both German and English, ensuring effective communication with local and international customers.
