As a recruiting partner of Conductix-Wampfler GmbH we are looking for you as Electrical Engineer (a) at the location in Weil am Rhein, Germany (preferred) or Shanghai.
In your position, you will design, implement, and maintain advanced electrical systems, develop automation solutions with PLCs, integrate energy storage technologies, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, this position is remunerated with 75-88,000 euros including a variable component.

What You Will Be Doing
* Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems and components, ensuring safety, reliability, and environmental sustainability.
* Develop and program PLC systems for automation and control.
* Design, evaluate, and oversee the installation of energy storage systems, including battery technology, energy management systems, and integration with renewable energy sources.
* Work with Fieldbus systems, managing industrial communication protocols. Expertise in power electronics, including converters, inverters, and power management systems.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components.
* Analyze and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
* Prepare technical documentation, such as system designs, specifications, and operational manuals.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
What You Bring To The Job
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
* Proven experience in PLC programming and familiarity with leading PLC brands (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley)
* Deep understanding of Fieldbus technology and industrial network protocols
* Proficiency in power electronics
* Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Travel Requirements < 10%, worldwide, 3 days average length of stay
* English: C1 – Advanced
Nice-to-Haves
Energy Storage Knowledge Requirements:
* In-depth understanding of various energy storage technologies, including lithium-ion batteries, flow batteries, and ultracapacitors
* Knowledge of battery management systems (BMS) and their role in optimizing battery performance and lifespan
* Familiarity with the integration of energy storage systems into existing power grids and renewable energy systems
* Ability to design and implement energy storage solutions for both small-scale and large-scale applications
