Your Responsibilities Actively contributing to Cardmarket’s Quality Assurance strategy Collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to define appropriate automated test plans and strategy for our web application and API Evaluating, selecting and implementing appropriate automation tools and technologies that meet the specifics Cardmarket’s project requirements Creating scalable, maintainable and reusable test automation framework(s) following industry best practices and updating our framework(s) as needed Automating testing with CI/CD pipelines Identifying and prioritizing test cases suitable for automation and plan test coverage for key application features Collaborating with Engineering teams to develop, optimize, and maintain test scripts for both new and existing features Ensuring that automated tests adhere to best practices, coding standards, and meet predefined quality criteria, while aligning with project requirements Executing and monitoring automated test suites to reduce the risk of software defects Documenting test cases using a Test Case Management tool, generating reports on test execution results, coverage and metrics and sharing the key insights with QA, Product, Engineering teams, and other relevant stakeholders Mentoring and guide Cardmarket’s QA and Engineering teams on test automation practices and processes Your profile Minimum three years of professional experience as a test automation engineer Experience with test automation tools and framework s (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Postman, JUnit) Programming skills such as Javascript, Python, Java ISTQB certification is desirable but not mandatory Experience working in a software testing team in an agile development environment Testing experience on marketplaces and e-commerce is a plus Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, high degree of independence and responsible and structured working methods Be willing to cooperate with teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them Fluent in English – verbal and written Familiar with agile methodologies and with project management software (Jira) is a plus Affinity for trading cards and games is a plus Presence in Berlin is required Why us?
