For our Power Team in Germany we are looking for a Field Service Engineer (m/f/x),
location including Munich, Mannheim, Koelln, Leipzig, Nurnberg, Kassel, Hannover, Hamburg and Berlin.
As Field Service Engineer (m/f/x) you will play a key role in keeping our NIO Power Products available and in well-maintained condition for our users. You will be responsible for the equipment within your geographical cluster, meaning that you carry out scheduled maintenance, continuous improvement and troubleshooting on our Battery-Swap-Stations and High-Power D/C Chargers- guaranteeing the best User experience possible.
Furthermore, you will be the first line of onsite support if our customers need guidance or advice, and you will directly report your outstanding work results to the Field Service Lead.
The role requires a wide scope of knowledge related to mechanical and electrical equipment, and is based on self independent working and responsibility.
The ideal candidate is good at managing multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to sudden changes and a natural problem solver.
Responsibilities
* Supporting Installation and Construction (I&C) team in building Power Swap Stations
* Responsible for field service activities, coordination of maintenance for your cluster, troubleshoot, repair of charging and swapping facilities
* Continuously pay attention to the operating status of the product, complete on-site maintenance, lubrication plans and emergency treatment, and ensure the stable and efficiency of the equipment
* Troubleshoot difficult issues that might occur on mechanical and electrical equipment
* Improve and support Continuous Improvement (CI) and technical projects
* Spare parts management for the geographical cluster
* Review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
* Regular reporting to the Country Field Service Lead
* Act as remote support for our Remote Support Team (RST) and users
* Participate in a guard schedule for the geographical cluster
Qualifications
* Mechanical or electrical background (for example from the automotive industry, electrician, industrial operator or any other relevant field)
* Rich on-site debugging and troubleshooting experience
* Familiar with maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
* Understand the installation, debugging and maintenance of power electronic equipment and transmission machinery equipment
* Fluent in English and German languages
* Min. 2 years of experience within Field Service
* Excellent in customer service awareness and logical structure thinking
* Microsoft Office
* Familiar with Electrical safety and Health & Safety (HSE) in general
* Drivers license
* Availability to work in shifts and on-call
* First Aider
* Some occasional travel must be expected
